Hi! My name is DJ Connor and I am a portrait and dance photographer, scientist, husband, and dad based in Charleston, SC.

My goal with my photography is to capture little gestures, little micro-expressions, subtle poses that reveal something profound and beautiful in the person I am photographing. 

So, why xraydj? The DJ part is simple -- I'm a "junior" and have gone by DJ my whole life. As for the x-ray part, I'm a PhD physicist and did my research in x-ray imaging and x-ray optics. Reverse them and put them together and voilà, xraydj!
