255/366 Inspiration

My wife and I wandered into an art gallery/book store, Pulp Charleston, last night. They had an interesting collection of art books, but "Brought To Light: Photography and the Invisible (1840-1900)" in particular struck me. It's a compilation of photographs from the mid-to-late 1800 that were displayed at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art as part of an installation bridging the scientific and photographic world as photography was coming into its own. I especially like the radiographs from 1896 (less than a year after x-rays were discovered by Roentgen).
